Stone Edge Surfaces Deck Resin is a water-based, high strength yet pliable, general purpose latex binder styrenebutadiene emulsion polymer of medium to high stiffness.
Deck Resin is a mid barrier waterproofing layer in the Stone Edge Surfaces Deck & Balcony Waterproofing System, and can also be used in showers and other areas to create a waterproofing layer over the walls and floors before applying the overlay materials. Deck Resin, when combined with fiberglass mat adds strength and body, by saturating and soaking through to adhere to the substrate. When dry, it forms a flexible, tough waterproofing layer that becomes the substrate for the next layer in the waterproofing system, overlay or tile.
BASE/TOP COAT: Base Coat, Water Based, typically a Mid-Barrier Waterproofing layer that is applied in unison with fiberglass mat or fiber mesh.
APPLICATION METHOD: Roll on, Paint Brush, Trowel.
WORKING TIME: Average 30 to 60 minutes. Dry to the touch within 2 hours after application

COVERAGE:
Approximately 100 -200 sqft per gallon.
